Fished the upper FFO C&R section of the LL today. last weekend it was muddy and flooded and I got skunked so this was a revenge trip.
Water was clear, flow was nice. Only my third time on this section ever, so i explored alot found a lot of silt and mud. Shame. Did find a few nice sections. Saw lots of baetis activity, but no risers.
Lost one fish in some really shallow riffles - suprised me that he was there.
Got 3 more on the line later and landed two rainbows -I need to improve my hookup..been losing lots of fish lately. Anyway, all fish were on my trusty BH rick's mink.
Not the banner day i was looking for, but still - revenge is sweet 🙂
