Paul G and I made our annual fall trip to the Little J and this time we took Fritz along. Fritz had never fished there. It was a foggy ride the entire way. We arrived at around 10am. Got on the water at 10:30am. After an equipment qualification issue, Fred was back with the correct reel.

Paul is nursing a shoulder/arm injury and was on the DL after trying to cast but the pain wouldn't let it go on too long. So basically he rode us there and sat in the car for 5 hours while we kicked the snot out of about two dozen LIttle J Gold. The trout were hammering Iso dries all day. Fred got his wings on the Little J with nearly a dozen fish and probably even more missed. I caught over a dozen fish with the biggest being about 17-18"

All the fish were fat and healthy, Only a couple peepee trouts. Around 3:00pm we saw a slowdown on the rising fish and decided to forgo the evening spinner fall in favor of not torturing Paul anymore. He is a true friend and trooper to sit on the bench while we fished and fished and fished. Thanks Paul!

The pics of the Guy fishing presenting trout is Fred....and of course y'all know my hand.....Some fish porn for all y'all...

First two are of the crew, then a hornets nest and then the gold. Enjoy! :-D

Maurice, nice report and pics.

Glad you guys had a nice outing. The Little J is sweet in the Fall. It's scarey, but I think I recognize your parking spot. JackM, TomGamber, and I parked there about this time last year.

If you were a real friend Mo, you have carried that poor man to the middle of the stream and held his staff while HE cast to those fish... :-D :-D

The fishing was very good. The company was better--thanks Paul and Maurice.
