Fished the lower end of the river from the two bridges in the Gorge down to the train bridge on Allison Road. CFS was 450-500 and the water was clear. Very close to ideal conditions minus the occasional gusts of wind and midday sun.
Managed 8 with two nice looking studs 16-18". All took #12 Peeping Caddis with a neon green butt and were in the deeper runs and pockets. Saw a few caddis and BWO's throughout the day with a few sporadic rising fish. Nothing to really focus on.
Just waiting for the spawn to kick into full swing.
