Little Juniata, Huntingdon Co., 4/23-24/17

Fished below Birmingham this past weekend. I did catch a few swinging soft hackles in the riffles, which is usually pretty dependable, but yesterday switched to dries after watching fish raise for a while. Caught fish on a cranefly pattern, but mostly on caddis, both emergers and dries. There were a few very large mayflies on the water, not enough to get the fish really looking but the got my attention. Not sure what they were, but I'd say a size 12? Does the Little J get Quill Gordons?

Also caught one smallmouth bass on a Caddis.....a first for me!
