Fished the Little Juniata Creek outside of New Bloomfield on Friday from around 1100 till 1300. Water was clear and a good level, air temps around 55. There was a midge hatch on but nothing coming up. Caught a bunch of minnows and three native browns on #14 Hares ear nymph. Was a little disappointed ‘cause they stocked fingerling rainbows late summer and was anxious to see some of them.
Still, It was a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
