Fished the LJ Tuesday evening, Wednesday, and Thursday morning. CFS - 425 to 387. Air temp - to 70 on Tuesday, 57 @ noon on Wed, mid 60’s at 11:00 Thurs. Nice Caddis hatches in the evenings and Thurs am - about size 16 with light wings. Never caught one so couldn’t determine body color. Nice cranefly hatches in the am. Also saw some bwo’s. Nice trip to the LJ. Browns really turned on when the Caddis hatched. Lots of rises and very receptive to 16 ehc. Fishery appears to be in great shape. Lots of beautifully colored Browns.

Nice report. My brother and I were on penns the same days and i wondered how the lj was fishing with the great water conditions. Did you see any sulphurs or march browns? Mb's were coming off on penns in light numbers but i only saw a handful of sulphurs. Hendricksons were still coming off as well in small numbers, lot of spinners though.

Didn’t see any mayflies except for the bwo’s. But I did catch one mayfly about size 16 with a cream colored body. Not sure what it was - and it was a one off.
