Decent Bwo hatch in late morning/ early afternoon bunch of fish caught on BWO floating nymph's, dry's, emergers.

No grannoms yet?

Yes Tom, but as you'll recall we were late for the grannoms and ended up fishing little black caddis. Hoping to do better this year.

I recall I didn't have the dry fly they wanted to eat and hooked and lost a monster on a bugger...my life story...

You going to camp this weekend?

Ok so for this year one must remember the proper dry fly AND to wear his rain gear.

I still get cold thinking about how stupid and wet I was that day.

No Grannoms yet, been looking for them, been cold out here. Going out Thurs. 4/16 let you know what I find.

Yea we're going out to the little J today too. I couldn't believe how many BWO's there were out there 4/14! They were like tiny little sail boats every 2 feet in every direction. The fish were rising like crazy. It was beautifull.

Thanks guys. Think Spring!

Ryan, it was a bigger disappointment for me after having good luck with the grannoms the year before.

Gentleman grannoms started today heard the hatch was decent in the morning, they had a flight tonight which was not bad it's only going to get heavier from here.

Yup. It was a great evening out there. The fish really lit up about 5 or 6 and we caught a few fish untill I couldn't see my fly any more.

The hatch was great again, even better than the day before. It allowed me to catch my first fat 16" Brown . Can't wait for an 18-20" next!
Bugs were so thick I didn't even need to eat dinner when I got home. LOL
