Little Juniata 10-20-12 Huntingdon County

Nice day to be out on the water for most of the day until rain came about 4 pm. Fish still pretty active with decent hatches of blue olives and october caddis occuring most of the day. The color on the fish is spectacular. Flows still low but water clarity was just about right with a little tinge from the recent rains. Caught a small wild rainbow near the quarry which was neat.

Coty and I fished the Little J on the 13th. Low and clear. Had a couple fish take caddis on top, but most action was sub-surface. I caught several small wild-looking rainbows. We fished the gorge.

Beautiful stream.
