Things started out pretty well, with a bit of a caddis hatch coming off on an overcast morning. Not the october caddis BTW - this one was smaller, and grayish in color.
I did pretty well on a #16 gray caddis.
About noon, the sun started to break out, and the wind started to blow pretty bad. It filled the creek with quite a few leaves during some of the heavy gusts.
I did manage to find a few fish rising to BWO's during lulls in the wind, and caught a few here and there on #20 BWO's.
But I also spent a lot of time removing leaves from my fly and muttering four letter words
