With the rain and the elevated water levels the last few days we decided to keep it local on Saturday. I found Little Falls, the largest tributary to Maryland's Gunpowder Falls in nearly perfect shape - only slightly off-color. Passing Showers and temperatures only reaching the upper 50s made it feel more like early spring. We did find the stream's wild browns rising to Sulphurs although Karen worked them with a #14 Adams.

With the off-color water I felt I could move a few with woolly buggers like this one on a #8 olive bugger.

Looks like another great trip. Both fish look well fed, but that bottom brown is a stud. I've always heard that the average size of fish is a little better in Little Falls compared to the Gunpowder, but never had the pleasure of fishing it. Keep the good reports coming!!!
