As is usually the case for me, I like to get out fishing the day before my band plays a show to relax. (calm before the storm) And seeing as how Union X is playing Snapper's in Mechanicsburg on Friday and The Village in Lancaster on Saturday I needed to get on the water fast to have as much time as possible. Hadn't been out since the bear sighting on Clarks.
Took the 15 min drive to Lititz Run after work. They must have recently stocked the stream because there was a ton of trout in the 12" range in there and not one of them I caught was wild. They all looked like recent stockers. More fish under the framers bridge than I've ever seen.
All in all I caught 9. 2 of which were old browns in the 19"-20" range. Did see a few bigger bows and browns but they wouldn't hear of getting caught. Typical of the older, bigger, wiser ones in there.
9 fish = good show! Yeah for me and the rest of the band. :-D
