Got to fish the Letort in town and below for about 5 hours on Friday morning into the afternoon. Water was off color but cleared in a matter of hours.
My brother and I missed about 30 fish on sculpins and buggers while the water was cloudy. They were short striking everything. I even trimmed the tail off a bugger completely and it was still getting short striked! I dunno how but these fish seemed apt to play and feeling comfortable in cloudy water but dunno how to eat in it lol.
We did land several fish on beetles. Including a few nice ones. Good day to fish the Letort.
