Yes. You need to go to the Barracks entrance, state your purpose, and they will do quick visual scan of underside of vehicle (contraband, explosives, etc ) and then they'll tell you where to park. Fishing is very good on base. One of my favorite stretches of the Letort is upstream of bridge crossing on Post Rd- especially when sulphurs are popping, and Summer w/terrestrials. It's also a great section during high water events with streamers. You can fish the Post Rd section all the way to the Barracks property border.

Thanks for the info. I’ve been meaning to check out that section as well as the shady lane area but I was always unsure of access at war college and I didn’t see any clear parking areas for shady lane. I’m not sure when I’ll be taking another crack at the fly only section but It would be impossible to do worse than I did the first time I fished it
Edit: I see now that I could probably park at the fly fishing museum. I’ll probably check out that section the next time I’m up there
