Fished the Letort again last night from 4-630pm. I started in the lower end of Carlisle and worked my way up through town before finally reaching Letort Park. I caught one palomino about 15" on a dark roe glo-bug to go with six rainbows ranging from 8-12". I also managed two wild browns of about 7" and 12" on a #14 Japanese Beetle pattern. There were two spin guys in the park and three other fly-fishermen so it looks like the word is out regarding the holdover fish. If someone else wants to kill them, let them. I released everything I caught, though I am sure Vince Marinaro is rolling around in his grave at the notion that there are about seven palis in the stream right now to go with about 50+/- 'bows. Don't worry Frederick-I saw one of the larger rainbows with a mepps spinner stuck to its tail. If you understood the culture here in Carlisle, you would know that the locals will remove those fish one way or another.
