Fished the Letort this past Saturday, it was good to get out and on the water..Cloudy, misty conditions offered ideal fishing circumstances for the dry fly angler..Tiny olives hatching through out the day, enough to get a few trout to rise...Caught three on the day..all decent fish in the 12" range...Bonny brook/meadow sections...

Don't forget your bug spray, I got lit up yesterday...

Trico's arn't what they use to be on the Letort; especially on the upper sections. In my experience Trico's gather and fall on warmer sunny days; I fished late morning/afternoon, on a cooler, cloudy, rainy day, so I wasn't targeting Tricos particulary, I was targeting BWO's..

The Breeches is a better bet for tricos then the LT, IMO...

Olives were small..I tied 6 #22 bwo hackled patterns, med dun...This time of the year is tough on that stream, the smaller the fly the better. If you guys get a blue bird day I would fish the breeches, maybe crawl around falling springs, looking for cover..
