Today I fished the lower letort by harmony hall road. Im 16 and dont have my licence so my mom drove me (she was scared of ticks and high grass so she didnt fish with me). It was sunny and stinkin hot and that usually makes for tough fishing on the letort. I wanted to do some hopper fishing, but the fish dont seem to be tuned into them yet( i had one splashy rise to my hopper). I put on a size 16 hares ear i tied and shortly after caught a small brown. I then headed back to the car for water and then went downstream from the harmony hall bridge. Its pretty grown up in there and it was tough manuvering through the brush. I came to a nice pool and on my first cast through it with my hares ear i caught a good brown of about 12 or 13in. i fished my way down to behind some farm and on my way i caught another small one and lost 3 more on the same fly. all in all it was a great day with less than ideal conditions on this stream.

Nice post it's good to hear you had success there because from what I hear it's tough fishing. Nice job.

Nice job on a though stream!

Good job, man. Did your moms wait in the car while you fished?

If so you must have a really awesome mom.

Good job - I know what you went through in that area. Last time there, I sensed something by my head. Looked to the right and a snake was hanging from a tree limb, staring at me.

Any fish on the Letort and you did well.
