We fished the lower section up to Shady Lane from about 6:00 to 12:00. The water temp was 62 degrees and there were a few Tricos dancing but nothing to get excited over. We managed to catch about 20 browns from 7"-16". All fish were caught on ants, beetles and crickets. It seems like the lower section doesn't hold the really big fish like the upper section does. We only saw one big fish, over 20", in the lower end. I'm not complaining because the constant action makes up for the lack of size. Another hot day with great fishing. Gotta love those spring creeks!
