Now we are not talking a lot more water, but to the fish it probably seems like a lot - - 100%, 200% or more water during the time frame when they need it – the 6o day window from July to Sept 1. Also, the water is not necessarily cold either, but that does not matter too much as it is highly oxygenated.
This is at least what a handful of us have determined is the reason why we are seeing more and more wilds throughout the river. It is nice to see a river that is actually improving.
