I do the set for our local High School play and the last performance was last night so for a change I could take off and hit the water.
The conditions were right for a run to the gorge and I loaded the bike and headed for the tunnel. Air was warmish, water was not and the fish were large and hungry. Large stonefly nymphs did the trick and the water was very low, perfect for the pools I target this time of year. Might be the last trip this year.
