Couldn’t wait any longer and had to get out,I spent the summer at home happily deep cleaning the garage and basement instead of fishing, the flow was nice and low out of the dam and air temps were agreeable.

I checked my photos from last year and the stones were out by mid September so I loaded up the truck and headed for the Gorge.
It looks like the stones are just starting and the small sulphurs are still around, the water temp was still a little high but I know where some cold water comes in, it really comes in all throughout the gorge but I have my favorite spots.

I decided to fish dries to see if they were looking up, got some on a stimulator in yellow and some on a yellow sallie at the end of the day.The rainbows are healthy as are the wild browns, sorry no pics this trip.

I've been itching to hit the Lehigh as well, with these cold nights this week i hope to get out this weekend
