Assisted PaFBC stock the river from FEW down stream. Some real healthy and impressive fish were released. Some beautiful palominos in the 5+ pound range.

A few guys were fishing as the buckets were dumped which always irks me .

Yep, all the snow is gone.

As to how far downstream they stocked. I don't know. There were 2 trucks. One stocked FEW, tail waters and gaging station. The other went down stream.

I didn't go with the second truck because there was a bunch of cars following that one. Figured they had enough help there.

In past years they would stock to confluence of sandy run below tannery. I understand they didn't last year, for lack of assistance due to covid (Would be tough and time consuming for the PAFBC crews to run buckets down those banks) No reason they wouldn't do so this year.

As mentioned above, snow is all but gone save for a patch or too in deep wooded areas.

It's tough for anyone to get up and down those banks. I bet the water was still super cold too.

Used to help stock here in Berks County. Some of the behavior of so called "sportsman" was far beyond irksome, it was sickening.
