Beautiful morning on the river. Water was high but crystal clear. I know that the guy at Evening Hatch told the guys I was with they were crazy for wading the river, but it was really not bad at all.
It looked like it was snowing with the amount of caddis on the water and above. Olive bodies. Used a # 18 to land one and then they basically stopped rising for them. Threw a #18 BWO comparadun and landed another Guys I was with pulled out a few more with olive caddis before they stopped chasing them.
Following the fly was hard because there were so many other flies out there to contend with.
Great morning that quickly turned into afternoon with all of the action.
