Fished upper delayed harvest area from 5 p.m. to dark. There are a fair number of holdovers. All were where you'd expect... deeper pools, glides and shady undercuts near cool water tribs. Caught none in pocket water. Water temperature in the mid 60s. Caught 4 on top with ants and cricket. A small cream colored mayfly started to hatch at dusk and brought a fair number of fish up. Size 18, not a white fly. Looked like a small Cahill, but isn't it too late in the season for them? I did manage to hook one on a small comp-tied Cahill I had. With all these holdovers, fishing is going to be good this fall in SW, PA for a change.
