Fished Laurel Hill Creek today in the DHALO section. Water temp was 41 degrees, a bit high (but very fishable), and a bit off color. I landed 2 rainbows about 13 inches on an olive wooley bugger. I started the day fishing with nymphs but switched after not getting any "bumps". I covered a good portion of the stream but didn't hit all the holes I would have liked to because of the risk of falling. Good day and very confortable temperature especially for the end of December.

Nice report Zem. There are two DHALO sections on Laurel Hill. Were you on the upper one above the lake at Laurel Hill Park (Boy Scout Camp) or the lower one in Humbert just above Confluence?

I've had good winter fishing in the past on Laurel Hill. Haven't been out there recently, so I'll have to get back out there.

I've had some luck with big stones in the winter. Cool area with snow.

Sorry about that I should have been more specific. I fished the upper end in Laurel State Park.
