Lancaster County Brook Trout

I can appreciate you having your stance on this issue, to each their own. PFBC however, disagrees with you. They promote and encourage harvesting stocked fish as part of the "put and take" program...

If you read my previous posts, my "stance" about not desiring to harvest fish has nothing to do with morals, ethics, biology or PFBC thoughts on the matter and it doesn't bother me that others choose to harvest.

It is because I/me can't be bothered with the extra kit and hassle involved in harvesting. It is also the reason I don't hunt. If I was well heeled enough to afford a ghille or someone wants to follow me around to deal with what I catch or shot and whip me up a quick streamside lunch or stock my freezer for half of what I bag...

Go for it!!

In the meantime, I'll continue to pass on hunting and practice C&R on fish so I can leave the cooler, creel, stringer, priest, filet knife, Ziploc bags, frying pan and other stuff to others and do my part to keep my local grocers in business...
