Tied some small Gurglers (size 8) last night and wanted to give them a try. Fished about an hour, midday.
Cloudy with little to no wind.
A few fish rising out of range, (fished from shore).
Caught a handful of 8-10 inch bass and 1 small sunfish.
Chatted with an young Amish man. He said he caught 14 trout. He was fishing from a boat and using a spinner. I was surprised there are still trout in the lake.
