Beautiful weather, 72 with very little wind, so I fly fished Lake Marburg from 3PM until 6pm. I didn't take a water temp, but cooling off nicely.
Super shallow for this time of year. Thick weeds choking the shoreline all around the lake. I used my float tube and fished the coves.
I used a 3wt with floating line and beadhead "forget me nots" pink size 14. But most caught on top with a "Caddis Foam Top Rubber Leg" size 12 (my own creation). Top water bite is always the most fun!
Simply a wonderful afternoon in a healthy, clean, lake.
