river temps finally low enough to get back out on the Lackawaxen - went out Sunday morning. Water temp around 64 at 8:30am, water low and clear. There were a good amount of bugs in the air (caddis, a few sulphurs, midges). Started tight line nymphing runs at one of my favorite spots with no luck. Made my way down to a pool below the runs, and fish were rising. Tied on a sz. 14 parachute adams to start with, and that's all that I needed. Brought 3 fish to net - all rainbows. The first was stocker size, but the last 2 were nice fish ~ 16+ inches. The 2nd absolutely crushed the adams! Water started to warm as the sun got higher, and I decided to call it a day. Overall a gorgeous morning.
