Fished the Kish from 11 till 1 today.
The water was realy high and off color. Water temps in the high 30's.
Caught a baker's dozen (12 bows, 1 brown). All caught on a PT size 14.

I want to add that the little bows are taking off in this stream. What a good idea to stock fingerling bows. Now it is like a wild bow fishery.
The little bows have these huge pot bellies. They are so stuffed with food that everytime I catch one it craps everywhere. They also fight so hard. As soon as I set the hook they are everywhere: up and down the stream, in the air, even when I go to slip the hook out they wiggle and shake like crazy. Someone should tell them they are on 8". I can't wait till they are 14".
If I could only convice the commis and TU to work together and stop stocking to entire stream except for the class a section in teh middle. there are so many browns and kinda wild bows in there that they should make a majority of the stream C & R and sit back and watch it take off. This stream has the potential to be top notch.
