Fished the Kish again, about 1 mile south of Reedsville up to Reedsville. I wanted to work the water hard, which I didn't have the time to do the other night.
Caught about 25 and hooked about 35 from 2:30 - 6:00 most small Rainbows from 5" to 9". However, I caught the occasional brown (5 total), with the largest about 14". Missed one about 18". I had one fish keep attacking my fly, but couldn't fit it into it's mouth because the from legs that were hanging out kept interfering.
Caught all fish on size 18 and 22 Pheasant tail based pattern and a Green Weenie (yea, I broke down and tied on a green weenie; but this time of year I am going to call it a drowned inch worm).
Sorry No pictures: couldn't find my small camera.
I picked up a few rocks and saw that they were all packed full with caddis and a fair amount of scuds, but I didn't see one mayfly-- why?
