Perfect weather this time of year imo, 55-60 degrees and cloudy with just enough breeze to cool you off after a short hike. Above average flow but water remained relatively clear.
BWOs hatching off and on all day and some of the tiniest stoneflies I've ever seen - probably around size 18.
Fishing was slow most of the day throwing BWOs, Adams, Caddis, and buggers. Tied on a Frenchie Jig, told myself "one last cast," and a dozen casts later I hooked into this beauty of a brookie. All in all a great day on the water.
