Out again today on the WBTE project on upper Kettle. Skies partly sunny, low to mid 60's, breezy, water 54-55. Fished a #16 EHC. The weather and water were about perfect, hard to believe it is mid-August. Caught a boatload of brookies, including quite a few nice sized fish. Could have used a machete to get through the streamside vegetation. Ferns and goldenrod up to your chest in places. Gotta watch your step. But what a wonderful day.

was out on kettle this weekend 2 times and caught 21 trout. most were on ants and beetles. one big brown on a hopper and a couple on stonefly nymphs. great weekend to be on the water. water was clear and awesome for being mid august.
