The fly fishing for smallmouth on Kettle Creek has been very good. Popping bugs are the most productive, but a lot of other patters like grasshopper, cricket, and even yellow Adams are taking bass.

Casting popping bugs along the shoreline at Kettle Creek Lake at the State Park is also very good.

We need the date of your trip and any other "conditions" information you can supply.

I was up Aug. 2-8. Stream was low, but not nearly as low as most years this month. Still a flow after all the rains we've had this year. Water was too warm for trout, but obviously good and warm enough for smallmouth!
