Isn't it way too late in the season for them? I usually see them in early to mid April.

Thank you for the detail of the reports and the pics of the bugs... That is really a truly beautiful area of the country and, unfortunately, due to work and family I cannot make that long drive and enjoy what you appreciate so much. Easily my favorite area - No. Central Potter - even more that western destinations.
I especially enjoy the commentary and pics on the bugs ... as a youth I fished the Hoosey in CT. and while the trout were special, the bugs were the main event - just beautiful and many and twilight was a masterpiece.
