The on top action was superb the last couple days at Kettle Creek. Fished the C&R section in the evenings. Green Drakes and Sulphers hatching around 7 pm. Caught mostly rainbows but did manage a couple wild browns. The fishing was best next to the deeper pockets and holes. Fish rising all day but evening was the best. Emergers with a trailing shuck was the ticket. I stripped some green drake nymphs and also had some luck. The upper C&R was crowded last night but i found a nice hole with rising fish.

I was hoping to see a report on Kettle Creek. Heading up this coming weekend for five days. I assume the water levels are low, but glad to hear Green Drakes are out and about.

Was up there fishing since Thursday. Caught many on march browns on top and pheasant tail nymphs. Sulphurs also worked well and even saw a couple coffin flies in evenings which produced fish. Water level when I arrived Thursday was pretty much perfect, and when I left today (Monday) it was LOW. Dropped significantly over the past couple days. WE NEED RAIN!!
