Kepner Creek, Montco 4-10-10

Fished from 2 to 3 in only one hole. The water was clear, could easily see the fish. Was a decent amount of people, 3 or 4 lines going into the small pool. Mostly jigs and bait jerking around in it. I tied on a size 14 nymph and tossed it in the pool, missed 3 strikes. Would of never guessed it would be so hard to get a hook set with a fly on spinning gear. Finally got one and two people left. Setup the fly rod and picked up about 19 more on various midges. Was 3 oclock by that point and i pulled out. Water was warmer then colder i guess. Seen a caddis or two bouncing on the water.
