jifigz had us all up for his recurring Warm Water Jamboree. My first time and it doesnt disappoint. First of all Josh is a great host on a wonderful property.

When I arrived Friday night after some trials and tribulations I was met with a great gang of guys who had fished the day before a hard storm. Reportedly the fishing wasnt great but fish were caught Friday.

About a dozen guys stayed overnight after a great supper provided by Josh. Afish, HopBack and I got the prize for staying up the latest playing with the Milky Way. In the morning again Josh made an awesome breakfast while we swapped our fishing tales.

Saturday Afish and I were the last ones out on the water. Following; Lars, linwood, HopBack. Wet_fly and his son with MT Flyfisher. I maybe missed someone.

We all caught fish, Tom and I didn’t float we waded. Water was a nice temp and fish were cooperative. now we are enjoying a nice supper with those that stayed and we may fish for trout in the morning.

Took some pics, enjoy the show. Dont miss this next time. Its worth the effort.

Maurice -

Very nice pictures and report on the jam. Enjoyed meeting you and the others.

After I got home yesterday I asked my wife (who’s a 3rd generation Pittsburgh’er) why she never told me about the great subs they have there. She said she never ate one when she lived there. But she often talked about their hot dogs and ice cream. Ugh!

John, They ain't subs they're hoagies. You get subs at subway. Subs ain;t cooked. We went over this. LOL. That was a fun tailgate talk for sure. Some of the best convos are had around the bed of an old pick up for sure. Now if I can only remember the name of the place Josh was raving about up ahr in Clarion.

I am always in awe of how beautiful the "bigJ" can be in the summer. Deep green trees against blue skies, shimmering water. I've seen more bald eagles floating it than any other location. A true gem.

Here’s the menu from Bob’s Subs in Clarion, assuming that’s the place Josh raved about. You’ll notice their emphasis on TOASTED Roll. Kinda makes ya hungry.

Always get extra mayo at Bob's. BTW. My first date with my wife was Bob's! Turkey, extra mayo. I prefer Bob's delight. There is also one in Pittsburgh Mills near Harmar. Sometimes she brings em home after work.
