Fished the Jordan last evening and late this evening. Water was clear both evenings, but lower this evening. No water temps taken. No surface activity or hatches last evening, but with today's warm temps the stream became alive with midges and a sparse caddis hatch to which fish were rising. In one hour last evening I caught three stocked BT and lost three. All were on copper beadhead zebra midges, which trailed an untouched PT nymph. I arrived this evening for the last half hour of dusk with the same rig and took the skunk. Did not attempt to fish the caddis hatch, although that probably would have been a better move.
