Nymphed from 7:30-10:45. Caught 3 RT, 1BT on Prince nymph (3) and San Juan Worm(1). Black ant did not produce today. Was tempted to switch to dry flies when I saw some rising fish and had not caught a fish in the first hour, but glad I stayed with the nymphs, as I never saw any additional risers in over a quarter mile of additional water. Water was a bit high and fast, somewhat off color, and 64 deg F. Frequent rain is keeping it much cooler than normal and usually the Jordan fishing would be over by now...usually the first week of June. The stocked trout were in very good condition. All of this bodes well for anglers wishing to try other typically warm or marginal stocked streams.

Agree. The stocked ATWs in my neck of the woods still have many trout with water temps in the 60s (well below normal for late June).

Good report, Mike! Was looking like a day or so of clearing would make it great conditions. Glad you did well.

I drove next to the Jordan today and the water looked PERFECT ,if it don't rain hard tonight and tomorrow I might give it a try.
