Fly Fished for the first time this year from 10 AM-noon. Water temp at noon was 56 F. Water clear. Flow normal. Caught 5 combined RT/BT on pheasant-tail nymphs and San Juan worms. Caught 1 BT on an Adams as fish began to rise around 11:30 for tan caddis. Partially baptized myself in the Jordan (appropriately), having slipped on some slick limestone.

I fought an 18 inch brown on Penns Friday while floating down the stream in water over my head. It was pretty scary but I caught the fish. It was just like A River Runs Through It.
