Fished under low flow conditions, but rising from 25 cfs to 32 cfs during 1.75 hr outing this afternoon in a steady rain. Air temp was 48 F, water 55 F. High sticked and jigged light, beadhead Prince nymph. Caught 5 RT, rolled one other. Saw one other angler fishing worms. One trout on his stringer. Section 06 was last stocked on March 8 in preparation for opening weekend. Though ranked at one point as the heaviest fished stream section in the state, one can still find trout three weeks after opening day. Stocked trout streams “fished out?” Not usually. Dissenting anglers “psyched out?” More likely.
