Fished a single wet fly from 7PM to 8:10PM. Given the rain and perhaps temporary clear, slightly high flow I opted to not take any time add more flies. As it turned out, one good fly was all that was needed. Caught stocked 2 BT and 1 RT. All were feisty in the 61 F fairly fast moving water.

I fished the Jordan on 5-12 in section 4. Caught several rainbows and a couple browns and noticed the same thing in regards to their fight. The cooler water had them invigorated. Last week water temp reached 75* a couple of afternoons. Good to have that rain and a cool down.

The flow was approximately 170 cfs last evening when “slightly high” and at noon today it’s over 100 cfs higher. Sometimes you just have to fish when a possibly fleeting opportunity knocks even if it’s only for an hour.
