Wondering who's fished Jeans this season? When, results, and conditions? PM if you like. Was wondering most about flow.

For the first time in many years, fished upper Jeans from the swamp headwaters downstream for some distance. I’m getting old, and my memory might be fleeting, but I was amazed at the difference in flow-much less than I recall for this stream. Observed both fewer and smaller natives too.

I had similar observations the last few times I fished Jeans.

I didn't fish it but I walk the gameland path that crosses over it. Flows are about normal now. Perhaps a bit less. I think this spring recharged the aquifer and swamp.

Not much good comes from a porcupine encounter. 🙂
