I'll be sidelined for awhile

I hope you heal well, and that your return to tying is swift. Best of luck.

I have Rubeosis (the growth of new, fragile blood vessels on the iris surface) in my right eye that have burst is limiting my eyesight and ability to tie any flies. I will be seeing my retina specialist eye doctor to hopefully get my eyesight back in my right eye (probably a series of shots)

Just thought I'd post why I'll be missing posting flies

I still have lots of flies in reserve to post, just cant tie new ones for now
Yikes! Hoping for the best of outcomes.

Dear nfrechet,

Wishing you a quick and successful recovery. I drool over your flies as much as I drool over trying to even tie a fly these days!

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

Sorry to read this, Norm. Always love seeing the classic patterns you tie and exhibit on the various forums. All I can do is wish you best of luck.

Bummer. What if we promise to look at your flies with one eye closed until you get well? Wishing you a speedy recovery.
