Here is a large and varied assortment of Hooks for fly tying, including Mustad, Dai-Riki, Daiichi, Tiemco, Firehole Stones, and more.

I haven’t counted these hooks individually, but I’m reasonably sure there are at least 2,000 or more hooks in a wide range of sizes from #2 through #22 (and maybe smaller, if only I could see them!) including hooks for dry flies, wet flies, streamers, shrimp, scuds, caddis pupa, jig hooks, egg hooks, etc. (what did I miss?) Oh, I see there’s also some small glass and brass beads in case you’d like to tie some bead head caddis pupa, or whatever…

Many of these hooks are presently kept in a half dozen assorted boxes, including an Oregon-izer hook storage box (I’d show more pictures but I’m limited in the number of pictures I can show here) and there is a very nice aluminum box with individual screw top bottles inside, plus several other plastic storage containers that have separated compartments.

I’d like $125.00 for all of these hooks, including the boxes (except I need to keep the 5 small separate glass bottles with the white caps, to be used elsewhere, but I’ll put the hooks in zip lock bags). (My asking price averages about $5.00/100 hooks, plus the value of the storage boxes. These hooks sell elsewhere today for $10.00/100, and more!)

These are available for pick up in New Holland, Pennsylvania, or I will ship them anywhere in the US for the actual shipping cost, paid by PayPal.

Please send me a private message here to arrange purchase, or with any questions you may have.

Thank you, John

You guys are a tough group to say “yes, I’d like to take this off your hands”.😃

With nearly 200 lookers (sightseers) surely one of you really NEEDS it?

Anyway, I had said earlier that these hooks include a very nice aluminum box, but I didn’t show how nice of a box it is, in my opinion anyway. So here’s a better picture of that aluminum box, showing 2 of the 12 small screw top aluminum bottles inside it - ones that you could easily carry your own hooks in if you wanted to make up a fly tying kit to take on a fishing trip.

I also said that the 5 small plastic bottles with white tops wouldn’t be included, but the hooks in those bottles would be.

Here is a picture of the hooks that were inside those plastic boxes. I believe these include nearly 100 Tiemco 2457 shrimp/scud hooks in sizes 10-14, plus some other similar style/quality hook with a turned up eye ()I’m unsure of the brand).

With Tiemco hooks selling retail for $30.00 and up, the couple hundred Tiemco hooks in this hook assortment are worth half or more of my asking price.

However, there seem to be quite a few shrimp/scud/caddis pupa style flies in this hook collection, so you’ll also NEED some spools of lead and copper wire, vinyl rib, and tinsel to tie the some of those flies. So, here you go:

Last, here’s the top of that hook Oregon-izer box that is included with these hooks.

MT,
Some of us would feel like we're stealing from you. If you were my neighbor, (or one of my boys' neighbors) you wouldn't even need to post your for sales.
There's also the recent decision of my father-in-law to no longer tie flies or build rods to consider. At least it is for me since I'm the only son-in-law who fishes and have boys who fish.

I agree ☝️, think you're being super generous.

You guys are too nice wit your thoughts and comments.

These hooks have now been sold!

Actually, while I’ve been selling or giving away a lot of my own items recently, the things I’ve been putting for sale here this week belonged to a friend of mine who passed away several months ago, and I volunteered to sell these things for his widow.
