Honey Creek; Mifflin County 1/27/18

Air temp. was in the mid 50's. Water temp. was cold at 40 degrees. The cold night froze the ground and the warm air temp, but lake of sun didn't help warm up the water throughout the day.

Fishing was slow, as I received a skunking, but a friend found a pod of willing fish in a winter holding location.

Fish caught on PT's and a Walt's worm.

Also had a rough time going the other day. Few guys in the area fishing.

You try tight line nymphing method there in the broken water? That method is usually effective in those type of streams
