Fished from 1:30 - 5:00.

Had the stream to myself with the trout tourny going on on Kish Creek.
Water temps were in the high 50's -- low 60's.
Fishing was slow, but htere was a thunderstorm looming.

After a light shower around 2:00 the fish started hitting.

Flies that worked: BH PT and Olive Caddis Pupa.
The larger fish all took the caddis, and the smaller fish took the PT.

That's a stream I'd like to fish more this year.

I fished in the headwaters early in the year and was not impressed with the amount of natives. Great water for them but I couldn't even spook any.

I'm gonna concentrate in the lower stretches from now on.

I forgot to to mention above...

Hatches: Sulphur - size 14, and more on the orange side. Dun tails and cream legs.

Huge winged ants were common too. Like a size 8 (not kidding).

Hammertime,
I like teh section from Reedsville up a couple miles. A lot of flat water, but some really nices spots every once in awhile. Fits my style of fishing becuase I like to walk a lot.

Thats the area I was thinking of. I fished it once where Honey and Kish meet but that was years ago and I didn't know what I was doing.

Now that the tounaments over on Kish maybe I'll head up to that area soon.
