Fished the middle stocked trout section for 2 hr 20 min from 2PM to 4:20PM. It was not stocked since the first week of March and it receives moderately heavy fishing pressure overall and heavy pressure on opening day. Caught 5 stockies on Prince nymph/San Juan worm combination. Three were on the PN. Water was crystal clear and flow was about normal for this time of the year, but leaning a bit toward the lower side of normal. Stoneflies filled the air and the stomachs of two trout kept, but no rising fish were seen while I was there. Once again these results speak in direct contrast to those among the board participants who use the term "fished out" in discussions that involve typical stocked trout streams.

Most people that think the streams are fished out dont walk 50 feet from the parking lot. Get away from the easy access and you will find fish. Nice report Mike.
