Does anyone have any information about backpacking in the Hammersley Wild Area. PM appreciated.

Yeah what lycoffer said. Are you lookin' to fish it? (wouldn't recommend that right now), or just to hike, camp, etc.?

I've never camped in the wilderness area, but have done a ton of "day trips" in and out many times.

Snag a Susquehannock state forest map, that should have the info you need. It’s not a huge area, but definitely could make for a nice overnighter with camping.

I help maintain a stretch of the STS trail in the HWA and was there a few weekends ago. It's good for backpacking now, but fishing not so good. What are your questions?
