Fished the york road gunpowder section today from 10am till about 1230 pm. Started off with some little black stoneflies and stayed with the same pattern. Did not see and risers and only noticed some small midges coming off size 22 or smaller and a few vlsck stoneflies. I Blind casted the whole time picking up 2 smallish wild browns. Probably could of caught many more with nymphs, but really only wanted to focus on the little black stoneflies. It was my first trout of 2018 and just really nice getting out of the house.

I fished the same section a couple of weeks ago and hit a hatch of little brown stones -- about a month early, I thought. The fish were really on them.

I was really hoping to have a little more action on top, but just happy to be on the water. Looking forward to sulphurs.

I plan to fish Falls Rd area Saturday for a couple hours depending on weather/water flow. What CFS range is fishable?

Anyone fishing streamers with any success?

Any and all info is appreciated.

Thanks.
